The International Association of Catholic Bioethics (IACB) is a community of bioethicists and others working in health care and related fields. Our mission is to foster collaboration in promoting ethics in health care that is informed by sound research and Christian philosophical, theological, and spiritual foundations.
The letters F.I.A.M.C. are taken from the French name of the organization: “Fédération Internationale des Associations Médicales Catholiques”, French being its original official language.
