Dear Lord Jesus,
You entrusted your disciples to continue your ministry of health and care of the sick.
In this great mission help us to be instruments of your Merciful Love, and provide us with the gift of wisdom and knowledge.
In the following the example of holy medical men and women help us to grow in holiness through our work.
Inspire us to bear witness to the Gospel of Life in our profession, to respect the dignity of every human being,
especially the weak, the vulnerable and those most in need, to defend human life,
from conception to natural end, remembering always to give thanks for the gift of our Faith and our vocation.
